The Find and Replace dialog box opens with the text you entered in both the Find and Replace text boxes. To Convert Fields to Text Navigate to the field you want to convert to text. Edit Multiline Text Double-click a multiline text object. Select the malfunctioning object. Right-click and choose Mtext Edit. Right-click the text and choose Select all. Reapply formatting as needed. Make sure to also set an appropriate layer current before creating the text object. Edit block in-place is a great way to modify block when you want to use other objects in the drawing as reference.

What happened? Below is a snapshot from AutoCAD help. How do we change this? You can also bring up the options dialog box. There are several ways to accomplish this. You can type options at the command prompt or simply right click in the command area to name two. Now when you double-click on objects that have specific editing tools you will be able to perform the functions necessary to complete the task.
